Health is wealth. Wealth is health. When you are in good health you can enjoy your wealth fully. When you have lost your health your wealth means nothing to you.

  1. Exercise: Invest time to keep fit and be healthy, if not you will be forced to take time off to nurse your illnesses, or worse still when you have succumbed to serious illnesses you will be robbed of your vitality and your productivity.

  1. Quit smoking: When you stop smoking, you do not only regain your health but you also save a substantial amount of money every year. As a non-smoker, you also enjoy discounts on insurance premiums.

  1. Stop excessive drinking: Regular drinkers are linked to liver disease. It will burn a hole in your pocket to seek treatment for acute liver problems.

  1. Maintain your ideal weight: Overweight means a higher risk of high cholesterol, heart diseases, stroke, and other health problems.

  1. Annual check-up: Going for a health check on a regular basis means arresting any health problems at an early stage. It is easier to be cured and you also get early recovery .and not to mention the savings on medical expenses.

  1. Visit the dentist: Maintain your sparkling smile by brushing your teeth in the morning and evening every day and better still do it after every meal. Make an appointment with your dentist at least once a year. Consume less sugary food means a healthier you and less tooth decay.
