Networking is a win/win situation whereby those involved sharing information and supporting each other's business activities for mutual benefit.

Here are some networking tips:

1. Meet as many people as you can.
2. When you meet someone, tell the other person what you do.
3. Act like a host, not a guest. You introduce yourself and you don't wait to be introduced.
4. While you are networking, don't do business.
5. You give and you receive.
6. Follow up to foster relationship.
7. Keep in touch regularly.
8. Up date your contacts and discard those unproductive ones.
