Getting Ahead at Work

Note the following points for your career advancement:

  1. Get along well with people and able to deal with them in a tactful manner.
  2. Know the right people from whom you can get support to get your work done.
  3. Know your company well so that your goals meet its needs.
  4. Identify additional skills required for you to get ahead and know where to get them.
  5. Utilize your strength and also the right people you know to reach your goals.
  6. Find out the working style of your superiors and act accordingly.
  7. Go beyond your boss's expectation.
