Recently I joined www.widgetbox.com for their Widgetbox Blog Network. It is a community of bloggers and publishers connected by a single widget showcasing content across a channel. They have 36 channels such as Art & Design, Business, Family, Food, Music, Pets, Tech News, Video Games, and youtube videos. 

I have chosen Health as Self Improvement is not listed. When you have chosen your channel you will create a Blidget (Blidget is a widget built from your content: a blog feed + a widget = a blidget) and put it on your blog. The widget will display a few articles by members of the channel. From time to time you can also see your own articles featured in the widget on your site. At the time of writing this post there are 187 members in the Health channel it means your blog and your articles are featured in 187 blogs (including your own) on the Net. In other words, if 50% of the blogs featured your article, there will be more than 90 one-way links to your site at any one time. This is a wonderful way to drive traffic and exposure to your blog to all members and your content through cross-network exposure and virality. In addition, every member is featured on widgbox.com and in the leaderboard for their channel with prominent links to their blog, posts, profile, and all their Widgetbox widgets and blidgets. The other cool and exciting thing is that you can view your rank among members of your channel.
