Do You Mean You don’t Have the Time to Exercise?

Exercise

To enjoy the glow of good health, you must exercise.

Gene Tunney

You have your goals as well as your New Year’s resolutions. Somehow you haven’t got around to be physically active as you have included daily exercise as one of the major goals. You said you didn’t have the time. In reality, this is not the case. The fact is that you have habitually continued to do the things that you used to do so conveniently. Normally after work, you have a few drinks with your friends at the café or you may go home to watch your favorite TV program with a can of cold beer.

The most important point is to break your existing habits and replace them with new and healthy ones. You need to think of all the benefits in the world to motivate you to change your habits. Besides, you also want to avoid critical illnesses. Don’t exercise only when you have serious health problems. It’s too late.

I have a friend who is very hardworking and exercise is not his priority. One day he suffered a stroke. He was lucky to recover and not bedridden. Now he has to exercise twice daily in order to rehabilitate. Sadly, he has lost his vitality, his energy, and the alertness he used to enjoy. I guess he has regretted not taking care of his health, but it is too late. He is not old but he behaves like one.

Do not procrastinate, do it now. Do not wait for a stroke to strike. It’s too late. Replace your current habits now with healthy habits to reap all the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. You will be sure to enjoy your life very much better than before when you exercise every day. Wish you good health.
