Happiness and Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning

Does lifelong learning promote happiness? I am very positive that it does. According to a paper, The Impact of Lifelong Learning on Happiness and Well-being published by Dr. Ricardo Sabates and Cathie Hammond from the Institute of Education, London, it is stated that adult learning leads to increases in self-esteem and self-efficacy. Adult learning has its most positive impacts on self-esteem and self-efficacy when the learning provided meets the needs of the learner and when the learner is at a stage in their life when they are ready and receptive to benefit from it.

The message hits the nail on the head. I am referring to my own experience of learning more about blogging. The learning itself meets my needs and knowing more about blogging helps me to be a better blogger, I enjoy learning the following topics and I find the learning process stimulating, interesting and enlightening,
