Here are a few tips from Winnie Tan, the general manager of Noel Gifts: 

 1. Prioritise gift giving according to the importance of the relationship between you and the recipient. It means family members come first. 

 2. Go to a big mall to do shopping so that you can buy everything under one roof.

 3. Do shopping in the morning or near closing time as the place is not crowded. 

 4. Consider food and beverage as gifts. For young ones, books are recommended.
