7 Tips to Motivate Yourself

How do you keep yourself always in top gear, full of energy, and highly charged? Here are the top 7 tips:


1. Self-appreciation: Appreciate your talents and capabilities. Be confident of yourself and value your self-worth. Self-motivation starts with self-love.

2. Positive mindset: Fill your mind with positive thoughts. Think and behave cheerfully, calmly, and mindfully. Feel the energy in you.

3. Written goals: With goals, you have a sense of direction. As an example, I have a SMART goal in blogging. I want my blog to have a Traffic Rank of <1,000,000 by the end of the year. It is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-specific. Without meaningful goals, you drift aimlessness. There is no hope, challenges, or motivation in whatever you do. When there is an objective in life there is an expectation and there is something to look forward to in life, you are excited and motivated.

4. Monitor your progress: Remember to check and review at regular intervals. As an example, I check my Traffic Rank regularly to gauge my progress. I am thrilled and motivated when my Traffic Rank goes up. You are motivated when you meet successes along the way.

5. Daily effort: In blogging, I write and post an article every day. It is about consistency and persistence. You are motivated to do the daily tasks because you get closer to your ultimate goals day by day.

6. Mix with positive thinking people: They encourage and motivate you because they are positive-minded people. Learn from their secrets of success and spur yourself to a greater height.

7. Build yourself into a trusted brand: Be good in what you do and always deliver as promised. How do you feel when you know you are trusted by others? Naturally, you are delighted and motivated to uphold your brand.


Motivate yourself before you motivate others.
