How do you maintain your mental alertness at old age?

When you reach old age you follow a balanced diet. You exercise regularly and you take care not to incur accidental injuries. Additionally you can take the following steps to promote your mental health:

1. Maintain a good relationship with your children and grandchildren. Respect your children's decision and only give advice when they ask for it.
2. Visit your friends and relatives. Talk to your neighbours and get involved in the activities of the community.
3, Spend your time wisely by taking up a new hobby or a part-time job.
4. Keep yourself up-to-date by travelling, reading newspapers and magazines, watching TV and going to the malls.
