Written Communication |
1. Before you write you must be very clear about the subject matter or else your message will be misunderstood.
2. Start with the main point as soon as possible
3. Use short sentences and short paragraphs as if you were taking.
4. Once you get the idea across do not add more detail. Your readers are busy people like you.
5. When you have a long report summarize the gist of the report at the beginning to allow the readers to have a quick idea of what you are driving at.
The whole idea is to write briefly, clearly, and accurately.
