Establish a Reading Habit for Your Child

Establish a Reading Habit for Your Child

There are a few things that parents can do to make your child enjoy reading:
  • Set up a reading corner. In the corner, your child will have his own cabinet and bookshelves filled with his own favourite books.
  • Provide more reading materials appropriate at his level from time to time so that he can read on his own.
  • Use books as gifts for your child.
  • When your child is looking for more reading materials it's time to apply for a library card for him.

Your Main Door

Your Main Door

According to feng shui, you should have a timber door instead of a glass door. Chi is believed to travel freely into your house when you have a glass door. It does not matter if it is closed. Moreover, a timber door gives solid protection and you can control the flow of chi into your house. Glass door is suitable for business premises because a lot of chi will flow in to bring in a lot of business.

Sodium and Your Health

Sodium adn Your Health

Most of our sodium, a mineral essential for human life, comes from salt (sodium chloride). Sodium helps to maintain the right balance of fluids in the body. For those people who are more sensitive to the effects of sodium tend to retain sodium more easily, leading to excess fluid retention and increased blood pressure. A condition that can lead to cardiovascular and kidney diseases. To avoid excess intake of sodium, limit consumption of pickled fruits and fruits processed with salt. You should also avoid smoked, salted fish or poultry, or canned meat. Go slow on salted vegetables and pickled vegetables, flavour enhancers such as Monosodium glutamate (MSG), and many other salted items.
