5 Effective Ways to Boost Your Alexa Traffic Rank

From the image, you will notice that my Alexa Traffic Rank has gone up from 8 digits on May 19, 2008, to 6 digits (324111) now. There are five effective ways to promote not only your Traffic Rank but your PageRank and Technorati Authority Rank as well:


 1. Write: The only way to attract visitors to your blog is your content. The best way to do is to write articles which are useful to them. To write well, you have to pick a subject that you are interested in and passionate about in order to sustain your enthusiasm in writing. It is also another great idea to write your personal experience about your life and work. To improve your writing, you have to write daily no matter what. Developing a good habit to write regularly and persistently is the way to write successfully. It is because the more you write, the more skillful you will be able to express yourself effectively.

 2. Link: Relevant links to your blog are the major factor that boosts your Alexa ranking. The most effective and easy way is to participate in suitable blog carnivals. Do it as and when you have posted an article. Over time you will have many links to your site.

 3. Connect: Join Google +, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn to get connected with as many people as possible. Invite them to visit your blog. When a new post is released, ping it. The more visitors visit your site, the more popular will be your blog. Frequent and constant traffic to your site accelerates your Alexa Traffic Rank.

 4. Learn: Technology is changing at a very fast pace. The only way to stay ahead is to learn continuously from successful bloggers and make positive changes. I posted my first article on October 23, 2007 on my blog with no knowledge about blogging. Of course my progress initially was very slow. However, I am willing to learn and I have learnt a lot.
