The Singapore Power and National Environment Agency provides the following tips to conserve energy:

• When you have more than one room to be cooled, consider a multi-split system.
• Match your unit according to the size of your room.
• Regularly clean the filter to ensure that the unit is functioning at an optimum level.
• Set the temperature at 25 degrees C. It is a comfortable temperature and yet it does not consume too much energy.
