How to Prepare for Your Examination Effectively

Are you ready for exam?

It goes without saying that your success is measured by your academic performance. Your performance is gauged by your examination results. A sure way of getting flying colours in your examination is by doing the past year's papers under examination conditions. You should then compare your work with the answers and study those areas that you have not done well. Your last-minute study should also be doing the past year's papers and studying for the topics that you are weak or cannot recall.

Sharp Edges or Secret Arrows

Feng Shui Poison Arrows

According to feng shui masters, sharp corners or secret arrows are dangerous. When you put a table or bed along its path, the sharp edge or the secret arrow will cut into your direction. In the office, if you sit with an arrow point at your back, you may have a back problem or you may be backstabbed by your colleagues. If a secret arrow is pointing at your bed your marriage may break up. You can neutralize the situation by placing your furniture parallel to the wall.

Debit Card and Prepaid Card

Prepaid Card and Debit Card

There are two kinds of cards you may like to consider instead of a credit card. One of them is a debit card. The card is linked to your savings or current account. Every time you use the card the amount is deducted from your account. The other card is the prepaid card. You load the card with a certain amount and then you can use it as a credit card. You can use the prepaid card to limit your monthly spending.

When You Are Happy You Are Healthy

When You Are Happy You Are Healthy

According to a study by Dr. Andrew Steptoe of University College London on 5000 healthy British adults, he found that those who reported happier moods had lower average cortisol levels. Cortisol is a 'stress' hormone when chronically elevated, which may contribute to high blood pressure, abdominal obesity, and dampened immune function, among other problems. So, don't worry, be happy and you will be healthier.

Reading to Your Children

Reading to Your Children

To promote the reading habit among your children, the most important thing is that parents are avid readers too. It is not necessary to tell the children what to do. When they see you reading they will follow you. The best time to start the reading habit is before they attend school. Use the books to tell bedtime stories to them. Be patient with your children because when they enjoy the story they would like to listen to it again and again. Make reading a fun thing to do. Do not test them or else it becomes a part of their homework.
