Articles

To attract more readers reading your articles it is necessary to: Submit your articles to article directories Bookmark your articles at social bookmarking and networking sites.

Article Directories: To direct traffic to your site submit some of your original articles to the following article directories where their Traffic Rank are high: Ezinearticles (254) HubPages (595) ArticlesBase (1759) There is a resource box at the end of an article that you can include a link to your website. When readers are interested to read more of your articles they will click the link and go directly to your site. By adding a link to your blog you have actually created a one-way link to your website.

Social bookmarking and networking sites: Here are some of the social bookmarking sites that you should bookmark your articles: Technorati (457) Mixx. (673) Digg (284) You can even bookmark your articles at social networking sites such as: Facebook (5) Twitter (599) Bebo (97) MySpace (7) LinkedIn (192) Remember that there is link juice to your website for each and every article that you bookmark. By bookmarking your articles you are also updating your friends by telling them what you are doing now - writing and posting new articles.

Recommendation: Submitting articles to article directories should be done selectively. Choose your popular articles to entice readers to visit your site. Sending too many articles will defeat the purpose. When readers can read most of your articles in full somewhere else there is no incentive to visit your site anymore. On the other hand bookmarking, your articles at social bookmarking and networking sites should be done extensively if not all of your articles because at the social bookmarking and networking sites there are only links or snippets of your actual articles. When readers are attracted to read your full articles they will have to go directly to your site. A catchy title, with the right keywords plus matching and unique content, will make readers want to visit your site to read your compelling articles.

TRCB.com -The Red Carpet Blog

TRCB.com The Red Carpet Broadcast

TRCB.com is an article directory. It is established on July 4, 2008. Over a short period of fewer than six months, it has already recorded an impressive Traffic Rank of 238503 (as of December 19, 2008) and a PageRank of 2/10 (as of December 19, 2008). The successful and seamless execution of this blog is the teamwork of Siddique, Tcat, and Gudrun. They are able to work together while living far apart is really remarkable.

When you join as a member you are given more than a red carpet welcome. Your articles are exposed to wide audiences because according to Alexa this blog is very popular in the United States, India, United Kingdom, Sweden, and Australia. TRCB is able to give you detailed statistics of your published articles such as a total article published and total article views. It also provides you with a list of your popular articles published and a listing of your articles in the popular articles of a particular topic. In short, your articles receive extensive publicity.

However, that is only part of the story. The other good thing is that you can collect earnings from AdSense when your articles are approved and published. Just check any one of the articles featured at TRCB you will notice that it is surrounded by ads from AdSense. You have to supply your AdSense codes to them and the earnings go straight to your AdSense account. Effectively, you are collecting earnings from two websites, your own as well as from TRCB.com.

I have well over 100 articles published by TRCB.com and close to 3000 views. Why don't you make it a New Year’s resolution for 2009 to submit your compelling articles to TRCB for fame and fortune?

Article Directories and Your Blog

Article Directory

When you syndicate your articles to article directories you benefit by:

 1. Getting your articles noticed by more readers
2. Attracting more people to your website
 3. Gaining one-way links to your blog

Here are some article directories that I normally submit my articles to:

Qassia.com: This is a site with a difference. It promises one one-way backlink for each article you submit. Not only that, you get a 100% share of the AdSense earnings from ads featured at your article site. For each article that you submit you also get credit, in the form of Qassia dollars. Your net worth in Qassia dollars determines how well your website ranks in its directory. (PageRank: 5/10, Traffic Rank: 129927)

Ezienarticles.com: When your article is accepted, it is able to tell the number of people who have viewed your articles and how many URLs of your site clicks have taken place after reading a particular article. You are also ranked among other authors by the number of articles that you have in each category. (PageRank: 6/10, TrafficRank: 268)

Printnpost.com: This site is able to tell you the number of times each and every article of yours is viewed. In addition, you are also able to collect earnings from AdSense for ads inserted in your article. (PageRank: 2/10, TrafficRank: 197074)

Isnare.com: At this site, you are also able to know the number of times your article is viewed. Isnare.com is able to syndicate your articles for a fee. (PageRank: 5/10, Traffic Rank: 48368).

When you submit your article you must remember to add the following at the end of the article: A link to your website and another link to your article page. As an example, this is what I usually add at the end of my article: My Blog: http://allaboulivingwithlife.blgospot.com Posted originally by the author at http://allaboutlivingwithlife.blogspot.com/2008/10/financial-freedom-7-successful-steps.html

 When you do these you:

 • Avoid duplication of content.
• Gain two one-way links to your blog, one on the front page and another one on the article page.

Note: PageRank and Traffic Rank of all sites as of October 28, 2008
